Welcome to 5th Grade Band!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Abigail Kading, and I'm the 5th Grade Band Teacher at RCI. I'm so excited to be a member of the Oregon Band Family. This is my first year at RCI teaching Band. Prior to teaching at RCI I taught for 6 years at Whitewater High School and Middle School, and the past 2 years I taught 6-8 Grade Band in Colorado at Euclid Middle School.
I grew up in Princeton, Wisconsin and attended UW-Whitewater for a Bachelors in Music Education and a Spanish Minor. My husband, Anthony Kading, is also a Band Teacher at Oregon Middle School and we are delighted to be in the same district teaching. We have a daughter, Eleanor, who is 1 years old and a great kid. In my free time I love to spend time with my family and be outside. We love making music and attending concerts as a family.
